Balai Bomba Klang Selatan, where "Balai Bomba" is known as "Fire Station" in Malaysian language, that cover an area of 824 square metres which is located at the junction of Tengku Diaudin Road and Tengku Kelana Road , near to Gedung Raja Abdullah and overlooking Klang Bridge.

 

 

The fire station was built with a combination of Georgian and Victorian style of early 20th century, by the British to safeguard Klang Town from fire. Throughout the years it has been used for various purposes. The building was initially functioned as a headquater and armory for the police department. During the war period in the 1940's, its function changed into an outpost to send out warning signal during emergencies.

 

 

After the government bodies of fire station in Selangor was united, the building was appointed as the state headquarter and undergone an extensive renovation to promote the State Fire Brigade of Selangor, which the headquaters was later moved to another location. Though renovated, the building's Victorian-styled architectural element were maintained under the orders of the Selangor Sultan. The building is now listed as one of the heritage buildings in Klang.
